2014 Disney Parks Moms Panel

wdw_mp_logo.gif

My journey towards becoming a 2014 Disney Parks Mom Panelist continues! Today I received the magical news that I made it through to Round 2 of the selection process. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is a site where guests can ask panelists for advice and travel planning tips for all the different Disney parks, cruises, runDisney races, etc.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that I applied to be the Disneyland Panel Mom. That makes total sense, since when I am not at Disneyland - I'm giving friends, family & complete strangers Disneyland trip planning advice and tips. Being able to do that officially on the Disney MP would be a dream come true.

This is my second attempt at serving as the Disneyland Mom Panelist. Last year I applied for the 2013 panel and also made it to Round 2. However, I withdrew my name from the running after realizing that, if selected, I would be unable to attend the training at Walt Disney World. Why on Earth would I not be able to attend the training? Well, because as timing would have it, I was already scheduled to be in Hawaii. In fact, I was at Aulani (Disney's Resort & Spa in Hawaii) when training started. Oh the irony!

Please wish me luck as I move forward with Round 2 of the application process. The chances are slim to none for me given all the applicants, but there is no reward without the risk.

Mahalo!
