Aloha & Bienvenidos!

I'm Jindy, a world traveling, race running, latina mom from California. I live an animated life with my very modern family. Writing and adventure are my passions. Flowers Croon is where I share stories from my travels, recipes and wine tastings, entertainment and sports fun and beauty and style tips. I hope to inspire, give back and entertain along the way. Y como soy Puertorriqueña, tambien escribo en español. ¡Gracias por su visita! Thanks for visiting. Please stay a while.

Halloween Costume Reveal

Halloween Costume Reveal

Halloween fanatics are divided into two camps: those that care a little and those that care way too much. I proudly belong in the latter group. Luckily the man in my life is on the same team.

Sometimes, life does that thing where it interferes with the frivolous fun we are trying to have and Halloween doesn't make the priority list. Those are tough years for me. Last year threatened to be that type of year, and even though we bought packaged costumes, I think we did a great job of sticking to who we really are.

Early this year NoTwitterTodd decided he would be Pitbull for Halloween, and I decided I would be my spirit animal. So with bellies full of laughs and in miserable summer weather, we pulled off this epic little paring just an hour before sundown.

Before the night is over we will start planning our costumes for next year because we love this day so much!

Happy Halloween!
