Saturday Short: Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Full Ride Video & Review #DisneySMMC

Saturday Short: Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Full Ride Video & Review #DisneySMMC

Last Saturday we left our cozy room at Disney's Yacht Club Resort at 6:15am and boarded a bus to ride Rock 'n' Roller Starring Aerosmith at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Why so early!? Because the park would be closed (rad), a GoPro camera would be mounted in front of us (awesome) and we'd have the opportunity of a lifetime to be filmed during the entire ride (amazing).

On the bus ride to the park we made new friends and entertained ourselves with Snapchat. (Side note: If you're not on Snapchat, you're missing out on a lot of geofilter fun.)

Love the Tower of Terror geofilter on Snapchat!

It was neat being in the park so early in the morning!

After arriving at the park, we were directed to the ride exit where we waited for our turn. We waited in the unloading area for a short while as the ride went through it's usual morning tests. It was really interesting to watch the warm-up sequence!

If you're unfamiliar with the ride, the premise is as follows: As you're touring G-Force Records, Aerosmith's manager arrives to tell them they are running late for a concert. The band invites you to join them in their super-stretch limo as they battle Los Angeles traffic to reach the concert.

As you wait in the queue, you will see other limos take-off into the darkness. It's scary and fun to watch! Once in your limo, strap yourself in and get ready for a 60 MPH takeoff into the darkness. Your limo will take you all over LA via I-5, I-10 and U.S. 101, and you'll see some pretty cool black light LA skyline elements. You'll also encounter some upside down goodness and a corkscrew along the way. Interesting side note: each limo plays its own Aerosmith songs, so that you can enjoy a different audio experience each time you ride.

It's a smooth, fast ride with lots of twists fun and music. See for yourself!

When it was our turn, we locked ourselves in and instantly got the jitters. The lights were brighter than we expected and the little GoPro with it's flashing red light really made us laugh. Nervously. We've been on this ride before, but not quite like this.

The result of our ride mount video is ridiculous. We are laughing, screaming, singing and having fun. I think if I had to sum up our entire #DisneySMMC trip in one video - this would be it. Being Goofy is who we are and what we do, and there is no better place to be your happiest self than at a Disney park.

Many thanks to the entire Walt Disney World Events team for arranging this priceless opportunity!
